Terms and Conditions

This Platform is currently operated by the founding team under the working title “Zuno” pending formal incorporation as a registered entity in the United Arab Emirates. References to “we,” “us,” “our,” or “Company” refer to the operational team behind the Platform. These policies are issued in good faith for early users participating in our limited proof-of-concept phase and will be updated upon completion of our company’s legal registration. By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract under UAE law to use the Platform.

2. Account Registration

• You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during registration.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
• You must not register more than one account without permission.

3. Platform Role

The Platform operator (operating under the working title ‘Zuno’) provides a digital intermediary service and is not a party to transactions between Vendors and Users. We do not own, control, or endorse any products or services offered by Vendors. The Platform acts solely as a facilitator between Vendors and Users. Any rental agreement, terms of service, vehicle use, insurance, liability, or dispute arising from the rental is solely between the Customer and the Vendor. The Platform operator (operating under the working title ‘Zuno’) is not a party to the rental contract. Users may access the Platform and make payments from outside the UAE; however, all products and services offered via the Platform are fulfilled exclusively within the United Arab Emirates. We do not guarantee the availability, legality, or safety of any vehicle or rental service offered on the Platform.

4. Vendor Responsibilities

• Comply with applicable UAE laws, including consumer protection, VAT, and e-commerce regulations.
• Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information regarding their rental vehicles, pricing, availability, terms, and conditions.
• Ensure all vehicles listed are properly licensed, insured, and meet all legal and regulatory requirements for operation and rental in the United Arab Emirates.
• Fulfil all confirmed bookings in accordance with the terms presented at the time of the offer.
• Clearly communicate and enforce their own rental agreement, including terms relating to fuel policy, mileage limits, deposits, damage liability, and insurance coverage.
• Respond promptly and professionally to all customer inquiries, requests, and disputes.
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding vehicle rental services in the jurisdiction(s) in which they operate.

5. User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate delivery and payment information.
• Not use the Platform for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
• Resolve disputes directly with the Vendor where applicable.

The Customer acknowledges that all car rentals facilitated through the Platform are subject to the specific terms and conditions imposed by the Vendor, including but not limited to age requirements, driver license eligibility, insurance coverage, fuel policies, late return fees, and damage responsibility. The Customer is solely responsible for reviewing and agreeing to the Vendor’s rental agreement. The Platform operator (operating under the working title ‘Zuno’) does not control the operation of the rental vehicles, nor does it monitor or enforce individual Vendor policies. As such, The Platform operator (operating under the working title ‘Zuno’) assumes no liability for claims, losses, or damages arising out of or relating to the use of a rented vehicle or the Vendor’s failure to perform.

6. Payments

• All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store or access your payment card details.
• Prices listed by Vendors are inclusive of any applicable UAE VAT unless otherwise stated.
• Payments made on the Platform are collected on behalf of the Vendor via Stripe. The Platform operator (operating under the working title ‘Zuno’) is not the seller or provider of the car rental service but facilitates the transaction as an intermediary.

7. Refunds, Cancellations, and Dispute Resolution

All car rental services offered through the Platform are provided by independent Vendors. The Platform serves only to facilitate the transaction and payment process. In the event of a dispute, cancellation, or claim for refund, the Customer agrees to first attempt to resolve the issue directly with the Vendor. The Platform operator (operating under the working title ‘Zuno’) may, at its sole discretion and without obligation, assist in mediating disputes. This may include facilitating a full or partial refund through the Platform’s payment processor (e.g. Stripe) where applicable. Any refund issued is subject to:

• The Vendor’s own cancellation and refund policy, as displayed at the time of booking;
• The timing of the request in relation to the booking date and rental period;
• Evidence provided by both parties;
• The Platform’s operational policies and technical capabilities.

The Platform operator (operating under the working title ‘Zuno’) does not guarantee the outcome of any dispute or refund request and shall not be held liable for any losses, dissatisfaction, or claims related to Vendor decisions or fulfilment. The Customer acknowledges that the Vendor remains the service provider and principal party to the rental agreement.

8. Prohibited Activities

• Misuse the Platform (e.g., for scraping, spamming, hacking).
• Post false, misleading, or defamatory content.
• Infringe on intellectual property or violate others’ rights.

9. Intellectual Property

All content and materials on the Platform, except content provided by Vendors or Users, are owned by the Platform operator (operating under the working title ‘Zuno’) and protected under UAE intellectual property laws.

10. Termination

• You violate these Terms.
• We are required to do so by law or regulatory order.

You may close your account at any time by contacting support.

11. Limitation of Liability

The Platform operator (operating under the working title ‘Zuno’) acts solely as an intermediary to facilitate introductions and transactions between Vendors and Users. We do not own, lease, operate, maintain, or manage any vehicles listed on the Platform. Accordingly, the Platform operator (operating under the working title ‘Zuno’), to the fullest extent permitted by law, shall not be liable for:

• The condition, availability, or performance of any vehicle.
• Any injury, loss, damage, or delay arising from use of a vehicle rented through the Platform.
• Disputes between the Customer and the Vendor, including cancellation policies, security deposit claims, or rental contract breaches.

The Customer agrees to release the Platform operator (operating under the working title ‘Zuno’), from any and all claims arising from the use of the Vendor’s rental services, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be error-free or uninterrupted.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to your use of the Platform are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. These Terms apply during the initial pilot phase of the Platform prior to full commercial launch. Upon formal incorporation, updated Terms and contact information will be provided. Users acknowledge this is a limited early-access offering. You agree that all legal proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE. Although the Platform is accessible internationally, all services and transactions are deemed to be initiated and fulfilled within the United Arab Emirates. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

14. Amendments

We may modify these Terms from time to time. The “Last Updated” date will reflect the most recent changes. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
